It all began with a profound passion for human rights and an unshakable commitment to making a real, tangible difference in the lives of those most affected by Florida’s death penalty system.

This project, led by the French Coalition Against the Death Penalty (FCADP), did not emerge in isolation, it was born directly out of the voices, experiences, and courage of the men and women living inside Florida’s death row, facing the daily reality of a broken and brutal system. These individuals, often silenced and forgotten by society, became our guiding light and inspiration. Their stories fueled our determination to become their voice on the outside, to fight not just for policy changes but for humanity itself.

We are much more than advocates. We are family members who have felt the devastating impact of the death penalty firsthand. We are friends and loved ones who refuse to let these stories go unheard. We are legal professionals, paralegals, human rights experts, and dedicated advocates, who bring specialized knowledge and a deep understanding of the complex legal, social, and ethical issues surrounding capital punishment.

This unique combination of personal connection and professional expertise allows us to approach this fight with both heart and precision. We work tirelessly to ensure that the realities faced by those on death row are not lost in abstract debate, but are made visible and undeniable to the public and to those in power.
